Elbit Systems has signed a US$300 million ($383 million) agreement with an Asian nation for Hermes 900 unmanned aerial systems.

Elbit Systems has entered an agreement to deliver US$300 million worth of Hermes 900 unmanned aerial systems to an Asian nation, the company confirmed yesterday.

The agreement will cater for the construction and upkeep of the Hermes system, and will be undertaken over the course of five years.

“There is a continuous demand for integrating unmanned systems to cope with a growing variety of operational needs. Our operational portfolio of autonomous capabilities, in all domains of operation, positions us competitively to address these needs,” Elbit Systems president and CEO Bezhalel Machlis said.
