“I am delighted to be joining the team at Raider at a time of significant demand and growth both domestically and internationally,” Fisher said.

“I am joining a team of incredibly talented and dedicated Australian engineers who design, build, and operate systems that enhance the skills and capabilities of our soldiers in the most realistic training environments.”

Raider co-founder and chief executive officer Mick Fielding said the 30 years of international senior management experience that Fisher brings to the team will be a key contribution to the company’s commercial efforts to meet demand.

“We are embarking on a period of significant domestic and international growth as we continue to roll out the system and continue to develop its capability that will further enhance its training capabilities,” Fielding said.

“Paul will be instrumental in working with new and existing clients as well as stakeholders so they understand the application of the system and the versatility it offers in a wide range of training scenarios.

“Paul’s extensive background in government relations, international commercial operations, defence and senior management were exactly what we were looking for in our CCO and we are delighted that he has joined us as we embark on the next chapter.”
