The innovative software provider has announced that it has signed a contract to extend its NC Protect offering to Microsoft Power Business Intelligence with an Australian university.

The innovative software provider has announced that it has signed a contract to extend its NC Protect offering to Microsoft Power Business Intelligence with an Australian university.

A company spokesperson has confirmed that the university is a current client of archTIS, with the contract award valued at $270,000.

The extension will see archTIS provide NC Protect’s data-centric services to data held in databases managed by Power Business Intelligence.

“This contract is an important step to open new market and platform opportunities for NC Protect,” Daniel Lai, managing director of archTIS, said.

“The use case and functionality are being driven by the university, which is an existing customer that recognises the advantages that NC Protect provides to secure their information assets in SharePoint. They now want to extend that capability to their Power BI environment.

“This is another milestone achievement that demonstrates we are successfully executing our strategy to be the preferred provider of policy enforcement products to Defence and the defence industry.”

In late June, the company announced that it had signed a $4.06 million contract for a workplace modernisation proof of concept with the Australian Department of Defence.

The contract includes software licences and services to conduct a proof of concept (POC) to modernise the Defence workplace environment.

archTIS will deploy NC Protect, Microsoft, and third-party software products to evaluate their productivity, compliance, and security gains for the Defence office environment and its users.

The POC will commence immediately and is expected to be completed by the end of the 2023 calendar year.

archTIS’ NC Protect dynamically secures sensitive information by applying zero trust enforcement policies and data-centric access controls across Microsoft 365, SharePoint on premises, and file share environments.
