The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) and BAE Systems have recently celebrated 20 years of partnership at BAE’s flight training facility at Tamworth, NSW.

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) and BAE Systems have recently celebrated 20 years of partnership at BAE’s flight training facility at Tamworth, NSW.

Since 1999, BAE Systems Aviation Solutions has been the primary provider of air grading services to the RSAF.

In supporting this capability for the RSAF, BAE Systems provides aircraft, training for RSAF instructors, purpose-built training facilities, full accommodation and recreational facilities.

“It’s been a privilege to support the RSAF in grading their future pilots. The success of an incredible 20 years reflects the trust and the depth of our partnership," BAE Systems Australia director of aircraft sustainment and training Andrew Chapman said.

The 20-year anniversary was commemorated with a special livery CT4B to celebrate the achievement.

The training, however, will come to a close in June 2020, when BAE Systems Australia ceases training in Tamworth.

"We appreciate BAE Systems’ support and friendship over the past 20 years. The partnership with BAE Systems Australia has been outstanding," head of RSAF air grading contract Tan Seng Tak, callsign “Lizard”, said.
