DroneShield integrates new AI software

The ASX-listed firm has rolled out its first AI-based detection and classification software to all of its existing systems.

The ASX-listed firm has rolled out its first AI-based detection and classification software to all of its existing systems.

DroneShield has integrated machine learning/AI-based detection and classification software into its existing platforms, designed to enable near-real time detection and identification of unmanned robotic systems and other potential threats in the electronic warfare fields.

The AI software is designed to run on all DroneShield platforms including RfPatrol, DroneSentry and DroneSentry-X.

According to the firm, the software, which customers will receive as part of regular SaaS updates, increases detection responsiveness, lowers false positives and ramps up the speed at which new threats are detected, classified and tracked by the systems.

"[The] software also has capabilities for deployment outside of the C-UAS space, on a hardware agnostic basis," DroneShield CEO Oleg Vornik added.

“DroneShield is currently engaging in such deployments with its Five Eye country military customers.”
