ICCPM outlined that this was the first instance in which project management has been eligible for a SADI grant, and that they collaborated with Team Downer to apply for the grant in order to help the 28 Team Downer SMEs receive ICCPM memberships.

ICCPM managing director and chief executive Collin Smith outlined that the grant will help ICCPM deliver critical training to SMEs.

“ICCPM is thrilled to be able to be able to help Australian SMEs build their organisational capability in the delivery of complex projects and position themselves to deliver higher value projects,” Smith noted.

Team Downer general manager Chris Lovejoy continued, “Team Downer values our partnership with ICCPM, and we are very pleased that we were able to collaborate on the grant application to facilitate access to a range of ICCPM member benefits to refine and expand the capability of the defence sector SMEs that we work with."
