Expressions of interest have opened for the Pitch Training Program, hosted by the Australian Defence Export Office and 25eight, to help businesses enhance their pitch making to militaries and primes.

Expressions of interest have opened for the Pitch Training Program, hosted by the Australian Defence Export Office and 25eight, to help businesses enhance their pitch making to militaries and primes.

The Australian Defence Export Office in partnership with 25eight, have opened expressions of interest to take part in the upcoming pitch training program, designed to enhance the pitch making skills of defence businesses who are looking forward to pitching for Australian and foreign militaries, and prime contractors.

According to the 25eight website, the program is tailored to accommodate for participants who have full work days and who can only schedule two-to-three hours a week for the course. The course is expected to run over eight weeks, with the first five weeks consisting of online lessons and weekly virtual mentoring sessions. Throughout the final week, participants will undergo one on one mentoring and present their final video pitch.

Each cohort of the ADEO program consists of 20 businesses operating in the defence industry.

According to the program’s website, the ADEO Pitch Training Program has offered training to over 150 Australian businesses to enhance their messaging and pitch structure, while also building a strong network of defence businesses who participated. 

The ADEO program is free for participants, and coincides with ADEO's work with Austrade in building Australian industry.
