The Department of Defence has released a new video showcasing the testing procedures for the Lynx and Redback prototypes for the LAND 400 Phase 3 program.

The LAND 400 Phase 3 program is a $10-$15 billion Army project to replace the Australian Army’s M113 Armoured Personnel Carrier.

Previously in the running for the program was the BAE Systems' CV90 and General Dynamics Land Systems' Ajax.

The video has been released at the back of a busy few months for the primes. Hanwha's Redback has recently begun testing for the South Korean Army, meanwhile German automotive developer RENK has pledged to create an Australian subsidiary if Rheinmetall is selected.
