DEFENCE CONNECT AIC SUMMIT

Wednesday, 25 August • 11:30AM AEST
Gandel Hall, NGA Canberra
Business Dress Code

The Australian government is committed to improving AIC to increase the nation's sovereign production, defence capability and resilience.

With the cost, complexities and challenges facing businesses to be successful in the defence supply chain, Defence Connect has launched the AIC Summit to better inform business, help drive greater collaboration between the Commonwealth, primes and SMEs, and increase the understanding of the realities of working in the domestic defence supply chain.

With key speakers from government, primes and SMEs, the event will be focused on the processes and expectations Defence places on industry and what sets successful SMEs apart when engaging with primes in the highly competitive supply chain contests.

It will also provide an opportunity for these senior speakers to outline the government’s updated AIC agenda and its future ambitions as the nation embarks on a record $270 billion defence investment.

The event will support and enhance the partnership between Defence and industry, empowering industry success with timely knowledge, business intelligence and networking to shape engagement with key Defence personnel and colleagues.

Numbers for the lunch will be limited in line with COVID restrictions, and those hoping to secure a seat at the lunch will need to move quickly – with a waitlist created on a first-come, first-serve basis.
