Regional Training Manager - Darwin

The Regional Training Manager – Darwin is the linchpin to successful delivery of our Battle Management System training and high quality and effective service to our military customers in the NT and SA regions.

You will be the 'face' of the company and will lead a small team of trainers to exceed our customer expectations through having daily contact with our user community to effectively manage the relationship between Elbit Systems of Australia and the contract Authorities rep (NITAT).

You will be responsible for all aspects of contract delivery and team administration and hands on training delivery. This will include formal training delivery within a classroom environment, and also conducting ad hoc instruction within a barracks and field environment in a number of locations around the Northern Territory and South Australia.

You will be regularly travelling to deliver refresher training and to mentor a range of users within the users work environment.  You will work closely with multiple HQs who may have different goals so you will need to be able to demonstrate an ability to work with a range of stakeholders in planning, management and execution of projects, within the military hierarchy.

We are seeking an individual with experience in a complex leadership role with excellent organisational, written and spoken communication and decision making skills as well as logistics ability and a focus on continuous improvement.  You will also of course have a track record in delivering training in an adult learning environment and an understanding of the ADF and Australian Army is highly desirable.
