Take the LEAP with APC – Leverage our experience to advance your product.

With more than 35 years experience across a diverse range of industries including defence, oil & gas, mining to agriculture, APC Technology has developed a proven track record of engineering solutions designed to perform in the harshest of environments.

Within defence APC products are part of the Collins class submarines, Airfare Destroyers, armoured vehicles, ANZACS and P3 Orions.

Large primes see the 25-strong team as providing innovation with a solid background of quality control and experience, solving problems rather than just filling a specification.

APC recently worked with a global mining company to engineer and manufacture an autonomous vehicle control module. The project began with the customer approaching APC to take their initial prototype and turn it into a working model. The primary objective was to ensure the unit could perform at 70 degrees Celsius, along with additional requirements to meet the environment. Find out how APC used technology, expertise and innovation to manufacture a product that performs around the world.

The process undertook involved taking the initial CAD designs and running thermal analysis on the unit using cutting edge software. This provided the starting point to make multiple iterations of the prototypes and reach the answer quickly.

APC Technology’s in-house prototyping capabilities include 3D printing, industrial laser, CNC and lasering enabling prototypes to be rapidly made and at a low cost.

Additionally in-house test facilities including shock and vibe, environment chamber and EMC means APC can offer confidence testing on site with a rapid turnaround and attractive price.
