archTIS signs new national security agreement

Australian listed software company archTIS confirmed that it has entered into a new national security contract.

Australian listed software company archTIS confirmed that it has entered into a new national security contract.

Australian listed software provider archTIS announced on Monday that the company has entered into an agreement with one of Australia’s leading national security departments for the delivery of its NC Protect platform.

The contract for NC Protect licences and ongoing customer support is valued at $535,000 over five years.

It is hoped that the department will be able to securely share information and collaborate among one another using Microsoft under the protection of NC Protect’s zero trust software.

In a statement released by archTIS, the agreement is the company’s biggest Microsoft IP co-sale between archTIS and Nucleus Cyber.

Kurt Mueffelmann, global chief operations officer and president of archTIS US, welcomed the opportunity to showcase the synergies between archTIS and Nucleus Cyber.

“As a long-time Nucleus Cyber customer, we are pleased to see this national security agency extend their use of NC Protect, he said.

Tightly marketed and integrated into the Microsoft suite of collaboration tools, NC Protect enables agencies to enforce granular, zero trust based security at the document level. The growing level of engagement we have with Microsoft field reps through the Microsoft IP Co-Sell program allows us to do more account mapping to identify joint opportunities and ensure customer success.”

The announcement comes following confirmation from the company that they have been awarded a $296,000 contract by the Department of Defence for use of the NC Protect platform.

“I am pleased that our footprint within the Australian Defence ecosystem for NC Protect is quickly expanding,” said Daniel Lai, archTIS managing director.

“The need to securely share sensitive and classified information is paramount for defence. ArchTIS portfolio solutions are uniquely able to deliver secure policy-based access and sharing to safeguard even the most sensitive information.”
