The federal government awarded an additional 25 scholarships to female students across science, technology, engineering and mathematics this week to bolster the number of women in STEM fields.

Minister for Defence Industry Melissa Price welcomed the new scholarships, noting that diversity in the STEM workforce will support the ongoing development of the talent pipeline available to defence.
