Israel Aerospace Industries and Korea Aerospace Industries signed an MOU this week for unmanned loitering munitions systems.

Israel Aerospace Industries and Korea Aerospace Industries entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) this week to deliver the Republic of Korea with fit for purpose unmanned loitering munitions systems.

Boaz Levy, CEO and president of IAI, said, “The MOU’s signed today is another milestone in our growing collaboration with KAI. IAI has long relations with the ROK and the local industries and we are happy to join KAI, one of Korea’s leading companies to explore future opportunities. Combining IAI’s proven capabilities in loitering munitions and KAI’s technologies and products to create an opportunity for an improved solution to the future battlefield.”

Hyun-ho Ahn, CEO and president of KAI, outlined that the two companies have had a decades long partnership across a number of partnerships, and will look to strengthen the defence capabilities of the Republic of Korea.
