Speed at the centre of new Boresight drone system

Designed for longer and more complex needs, Boresight said the drone’s feature of using the same ground control station as the company’s BQ-400 drone allows for seamless integration within training and operation.

“One system with multiple drones of various models means more effective and efficient training for customers,” Boresight managing director and CEO Justin Olde said.

“We are creating an ecosystem that allows for easily, repeatable, cost-effective counter-drone training.

“This makes it very easy for customers to use as they can add the drone to their training rotation and secondly, allowing for swarming with a mixture of BQ-400 and BQ-750 aerial target drones.”

Olde said the creation and introduction of this unmanned system follows the ever-evolving nature of the drone market.

“We understand the aerial target drone market will evolve and we have to respond to it,” he said.

“The BQ-750 Block 2 is a clear example of our ability to interpret that evolving market and develop a product that meets client demands.

“By creating a target drone with increased flight time, increased range and useful payload capacity, the BQ-750 will help customers continue to develop their training scenarios to reflect the real world threats they are facing.”
