Mission Assurance and Information Security Summit

The security and defense of a network is imperative for successful operations. Traditionally, this safeguarding of critical or sensitive information has been referred to as “Information Assurance”, where absolute security of the network was the end goal. The DoD has now shifted it’s approach. Now, a secure network is a means by which to achieve a mission, and as such, needs to be scaled to the mission. This is the new age of network security, and it’s titled “Mission Assurance.”
