The centre is located at the Alkath Group headquarters within the Shoalhaven defence precinct, improving client experience by showcasing Group products in one location.

The centre will feature products from the Alkath Group subsidiaries Global Defence Solutions, Mellori Solutions, and Resilience Logistic Solutions.

A range of Mellori Solutions capabilities currently supporting the Australian Defence Force and New Zealand Defence Force are on display at the centre, in addition to the V-Shelter range, a soft shelter solution that boasts rapid assembly as well as mobile water reuse systems for off-grid deployment.

Phil Guy, managing director of Alkath Group, explained that the new centre will improve client experience, enabling users to see products firsthand.

“By bringing together many of Alkath Group’s products from our subsidiaries Global Defence Solutions (GDS), Mellori Solutions, and Resilience Logistic Solutions under one roof, the centre offers the opportunity for clients to explore our range of solutions firsthand, all focused on enhancing security and life support,” Guy said.

“This showcase not only gives you an idea of the range of our products but also provides a comprehensive understanding of their features and benefits. Visitors can engage with our experts, ensuring that the solutions we offer are tailored to their specific requirements.

“The new space also creates an ongoing opportunity for our clients to visit regularly, walk through our showcase and gain insights into how our products are evolving.”

The centre will facilitate the practical demonstration of the group’s products, GDS general manager Jeromy Bendall said.

“We are committed to making our innovative products more accessible to our clients and partners and believe this new centre will allow us to demonstrate how technology meets practicality, offering a close-up look at our range of innovative solutions that meet many of the challenges our country faces.”

The opening of the centre, held on 15 May, included a tour of the Alkath Group design and manufacturing facilities, as well as the GDS repair, overhaul, and maintenance facilities.
