Simulator technology company BlueRoom Simulations has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with business representation company Pride of India on the sidelines of Asia’s largest military aviation exhibition.

Simulator technology company BlueRoom Simulations has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with business representation company Pride of India on the sidelines of Asia’s largest military aviation exhibition.

Both companies attended the Aero India 2025 exhibition in Bengaluru, India, from 10 to 14 February this year. The MoU was formalised at the Australia pavilion, marking a significant step towards bringing advanced simulation technology to the Indian Armed Forces and the broader defence industry.

Under the new arrangement, BlueRoom will introduce mixed reality simulators to India, enhancing military, aeromedical and combat medical training applications under Make in India, championed by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“We are excited to collaborate with Pride of India to introduce our mixed reality BlueRoom simulator to the Indian Armed Forces,” BlueRoom Simulations CEO Benjamin Krynski said.

“This partnership further highlights the deep connection Australia has with India, mutual values of democracy and freedom that we desire to protect together. If we can be a small part of this through supporting the Indian Armed Forces protect the lives of their soldiers and the lives of our allies, we are fulfilling our mission.”

The BlueRoom simulator was innovated through an Australian Defence Innovation Hub contract in 2022 and is in use with the Royal Australian Air Force with systems pending deployment into the United Arab Emirates and the Netherlands.

The system allows for the seamless integration of real-world equipment into virtual worlds while allowing medical staff to practice real skills with their own hands.

BlueRoom solves the problem of accessing expensive platforms such as aircraft or simulated combat zones for training. The system increases the capability and capacity of an operator to rapidly train and retrain their soldiers.

“This partnership with BlueRoom Simulations Australia underscores our commitment to bringing world-class simulation technology to the Indian defence sector,” said Ashish Sharma, director, Pride Of India.

“By leveraging our extensive experience in defence representation, we aim to ensure seamless integration and deployment of BlueRoom’s cutting-edge solutions in India.”

The signing of this MoU at Aero India 2025 marks a new chapter in Indo–Australian defence collaboration, fostering innovation and enhancing training capabilities for critical sectors in India.
