Nominations and submissions are now officially open for the annual Australian Defence Industry Awards.
The seventh annual Australian Defence Industry Awards recognises the top businesses and professionals in Australia’s defence industry.
Run with support from gold partner, Investment NSW, the awards program goes beyond highlighting the latest products and platforms to showcase the innovations of the trailblazers propelling the industry forward.
The Australian Defence Industry Awards acknowledges all defence industry stakeholders, from primes, SMEs, academic institutions and associations to high-performing individuals such as defence executives, Indigenous and female leaders, students, scientists, technicians and academics.
For the chance to be recognised on a national scale, submit an entry or nominate a worthy colleague or business by Thursday, 17 April 2025.
There are a total of 27 categories on offer, including 10 individual and 17 group categories.
The individual categories include Technician of the Year, Female Defence Leader of the Year, Engineer of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, and Academic of the Year.
Some of the group categories include Aerospace Program of the Year, Cyber Business of the Year, Veteran-Owned Business of the Year, Naval Program of the Year, and SME of the Year.
The awards are open to all businesses operating in Australia supporting the defence supply chain and have become a desirable accolade for individuals and businesses seeking to forge their role in the defence industry.
