Defence company EOS Defence Systems and Greek defence company EODH have signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate on the local assembly of remote weapon systems in Greece.

Under the agreement, EODH will locally assemble EOS’ remote weapon systems (RWS) for use in upcoming Greek defence programs – marking a significant step forward in strengthening sovereign capability and defence industrial cooperation in the region.

The partnership supports broader ambitions to deliver effective, proven technology to Greek forces while contributing to local industry and workforce development.

EODH is a trusted supplier to the Hellenic and European defence sectors, specialising in advanced survivability systems, vehicle upgrades and protection technologies.

“Our cooperation with EODH reflects EOS’ commitment to working with trusted local partners to deliver tailored, high-performance capability to European defence forces,” said Christian Tobergte, EVP EOS Defence Systems (International).

“This partnership not only enables local industry involvement but strengthens sovereign defence capability in a strategically important region.”

EOS’ RWS have been proven operationally and are in use with militaries from Australia, the Middle East, North America, Europe, and South-East Asia. EOS has sold over 2,500 systems globally.

“EODH in enhancing its field of activities, welcomes EOS, an internationally acclaimed and widely known high-tech company,” said Andreas Mitsis, CEO of EODH.

“EOS’ high efficiency, combined with excellent reliability and consistency, makes EOS a pioneer in its field.

“EODH, through this highly promising cooperation, will be able to produce in its facilities all types of advanced solutions that EOS Australia has in its portfolio and offer them as systems to increase firepower and combat capability of existing or new platforms both in Greece, Cyprus and other allied countries.”

EOS will continue to provide core technology, engineering support and system integration expertise, working alongside EODH to ensure successful local delivery.

The two companies will also pursue opportunities to support vehicle upgrade programs in Greece and across Europe, combining EOS’ advanced weapon and sensor integration capabilities with EODH’s long-standing expertise in platform protection and survivability.

This agreement builds on both companies’ shared commitment to delivering high-performance defence capability through strong, sovereign industrial partnerships.
