Brenton Judge has been appointed to the chairman role with industry managed not-for-profit association Electronics Industry Development Adelaide in South Australia.
The executive general manager at South Australian electronic assemblies manufacturer Hendon Semiconductors brings more than 26 years of international experience in electronics manufacturing, embedded systems and internet of things technologies to the role.
“Brenton takes over from Donald Kay, who chaired EIDA since its inception in 2015. Reflecting on his tenure, Donald shared that it was an honour to help build a strong and connected industry community,” said a public statement from Hendon Semiconductors.
“Before joining Hendon, he held senior roles at Flex, Defond, and Computime Ltd in Hong Kong and China, leading initiatives in the medical, automotive and industrial sectors.
“At Hendon, he now spearheads efforts to expand Australia’s sovereign manufacturing capabilities, particularly in defence and medical technologies, work that has secured significant government support.”
