ArchTIS Limited has announced intentions to expand its global defence footprint under a recent United Kingdom contract win.
The provider of data-centric software for secure cloud-based collaboration has secured a three-year, $261,870 contract for initial deployment to 400 users with the UK division of a multinational aerospace and defence business, according to archTIS.
The contract win marks a significant step in archTIS’ continued expansion into global defence markets and follows closely from its recent US Department of Defense contract, according to a company statement published on 18 June.
“NC Protect has been selected to meet the stringent UK Ministry of Defence JSP 440 data and security requirements,” the company said.
“The contract win reinforces NC Protect’s role in securing sensitive defence data across allied government and defence organisations.
“The agreement was awarded after a successful proof of concept for the product and includes a cancellation for convenience clause. NC Protect will be deployed to ensure secure collaboration during the company’s migration from SharePoint Server to Microsoft 365 cloud services.
“The NC Protect solution was selected for its ability to deliver fine-grained, attribute-based access controls and dynamic data protection, which are capabilities required to comply with the UK Ministry of Defence’s Joint Service Publication 440 (JSP 440).
“This implementation is expected to serve as a benchmark for future global rollouts across the corporation’s 100,000-plus employees, making it a potential high-value growth opportunity for archTIS.
“This win further validates archTIS’ NC Protect as a trusted and scalable solution for governments and defence contractors facing complex compliance and security challenges in cloud-based environments like Microsoft 365.”
Daniel Lai, archTIS managing director and chief executive officer, confirmed that the contract marks another milestone in their strategy to become the global leader in secure, data-centric collaboration for defence.
“Following our recent success with the US DOD, this award from a key UK defence contractor evidences NC Protect’s growing reputation as the solution of choice for highly regulated defence environments,” he said.
“We see strong forward momentum as more global defence organisations seek to modernise security in the cloud.
“This significant achievement from our international team underscores our core strategy to establish archTIS as a trusted partner in safeguarding sensitive information across global defence organisations and the defence industrial base that supports it.”
