Sydney counter-drone developer DroneShield has secured a package of three stand-alone contracts for its hand-held and on-the-move counter-drone systems to a defence end user in Latin America.
The $9.7 million package of three stand-alone contracts will be delivered through DroneShield’s privately owned in-country reseller throughout the third and fourth quarters in 2025.
Cash payment is expected in Q3 and Q4 of this year.
“In 2025, DroneShield has successfully delivered products, capability and training into the Latin American market,” DroneShield chief executive officer Oleg Vornik said.
“With a substantial pipeline, diversified over multiple countries and customers, DroneShield is anticipating further developments in 2025 in this region.”
DroneShield has previously received two stand-alone contracts from the same reseller for the defence customer in December 2024 and January 2025, totalling approximately $10.8 million, with all imports, deliveries and payments handled on time and in a highly professional manner, according to the company.
There is no obligation for any additional contracts from this reseller or the customer, according to DroneShield.
