Leidos has secured Trusted Secure Enclave (TSE) vetted partner status from Amazon Web Services (AWS), marking a significant milestone in advancing secure information sharing across agencies and allied nations, including initiatives under AUKUS Pillar 2.

The TSE vetted partner designation is AWS’ highest recognition for organisations that meet rigorous standards for secure enclave design and deployment.

At the centre of this achievement is the Leidos Secure Environment (LSE), a cloud-based, automated infrastructure and governance platform built on AWS TSE.

The system enables highly secure collaboration across multi-organisation and international networks, allowing global teams to conduct joint design, research, and development for sensitive workloads and classified data.

“Achieving AWS vetted partner status validates our leadership in building secure cloud architectures for the world’s most complex missions,” said Kevin Fogarty, senior vice president and chief technology officer for Leidos’ commercial and international sector. “Solutions like LSE provide an ideal foundation for AUKUS information sharing, which demands highly secure, policy-driven collaboration delivered at speed and scale.”

John Nicely, from AWS Global National Security and Defence, said the partnership with Leidos enhances the national security ecosystem for Australia and its allies.

“Our collaboration enables LSE’s rapid, secure infrastructure deployment maintaining the highest standards of verification and compliance to help safeguard nations and allies when time is critical,” Nicely said.

The announcement comes as AUKUS partners Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States push to strengthen defence cooperation in the Indo-Pacific. While Pillar 1 focuses on delivering nuclear-powered submarines to the Royal Australian Navy, Pillar 2 targets collaboration on advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, cyber capabilities, hypersonics, and maritime autonomy.

By attaining TSE vetted partner status, Leidos is positioning itself as a key player in enabling the secure, cross-border collaboration that underpins both AUKUS and broader allied technology modernisation efforts.
