Radar platform company Echodyne has been selected by Digital Force Technologies to be the primary radar provider for its Seraphim C-UAS systems.

Echodyne has announced that its radars have been selected by Digital Force Technologies as the primary radars that will be used across its Seraphim counter uncrewed aerial (C-UAS) systems.

“Echodyne shares Digital Force Technologies’ commitment to delivering adaptable solutions that advance mission success and enhance warfighter safety, awareness, and capabilities,” said Justin MacLaurin, CEO of Digital Force Technologies.

Digital Force Technologies’ Seraphim C-UAS family of systems is a multi-domain sensor capability used across tactical, maritime, expeditionary and unmanned missions. Leveraging their SeraphimOS software, the systems aim to provide autonomous solutions for detection, tracking, assessment, and deterrence and defeat capabilities of UAS threats.

Echodyne’s EchoShield and EchoGuard radars will be the new integrated components, utilising their MESA architecture that is highly adaptable to a range of environments and can be applied to fixed and mobile systems alike.

“Echodyne is thrilled to be acknowledged by Digital Force Technologies as having the ideal radars for their Seraphim C-UAS solutions,” said Eben Frankenberg, CEO of Echodyne.

“Counter-UAS is critical to every force and mission, and this selection demonstrates again that cutting-edge defence solutions are turning to Echodyne radar for market-leading accuracy, precision and reliability.”

Digital Force Technologies was recently selected as part of the US Marine Corps program TERAPIN, which aims to provide a range of sensing and surveillance support and is being deployed by a multitude of marine elements and forces.

“The demand for autonomous systems that accurately sense their environment, identify threats and inform and protect the warfighter is evolving quickly, and Seraphim C-UAS is proving that cutting-edge, autonomous solutions are available today,” MacLaurin said.
