Australian sovereign technology services provider Kinetic IT has named senior transformation specialist Jacqui Adams as its new head of digital transformation and national services, strengthening the company’s push to modernise operations and deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes for customers across the country.

Adams brings more than two decades of leadership experience across enterprise strategy, AI and automation, digital transformation and program governance.

She has overseen major reform efforts within Defence, Services Australia, KPMG and several critical industry sectors, managing transformation portfolios worth up to $1.4 billion and leading multidisciplinary teams of more than 130 people across complex, geographically dispersed environments.

In her new role, Adams will lead Kinetic IT’s national service frameworks, digital platforms, shared services and transformation programs. Her focus will be on simplifying service delivery, strengthening alignment across the company’s national footprint, and ensuring Kinetic IT’s operating models scale to meet changing customer expectations.

Murray Thompson, Kinetic IT’s group executive for advisory and transformation, said Adams’ appointment comes at a pivotal time for the business.

“Jacqui brings exceptional depth in strategic transformation, service design and operating model uplift – the exact capabilities that align with Kinetic IT’s future direction,” Thompson said.

“She has delivered major change programs in some of Australia’s most complex environments, from national security to enterprise technology, and understands what is required to elevate customer experience at scale,” Thompson added.

Adams’ career includes senior executive roles at Services Australia, where she strengthened the agency’s automation, AI and ethics capability along with strategic advisory positions shaping organisational design and transformation programs for Defence and national security agencies.

She also led major operating model reforms across professional services and large enterprise environments. Her work is underpinned by transparency, stakeholder co-design and measurable outcomes that improve both customer and employee experience.

Thompson added, “Her leadership will help refine and strengthen our national service approach, give customers greater clarity and consistency, and ensure we remain a trusted partner for organisations that carry critical responsibilities to Australia’s communities, economy and security.”

Speaking on her appointment, Adams said she was eager to build on Kinetic IT’s strong reputation for customer-centred service.

“Kinetic IT has a longstanding commitment to putting customers and communities first, and I’m genuinely excited to contribute to that mission,” she said. “This role offers a unique opportunity to bring together our national capabilities, streamline how we deliver services and build approaches that are simple, responsive and aligned to the needs of the organisations we support.

“I’m looking forward to working with Murray and our leadership teams across the country to uplift our service practices, strengthen national frameworks and support our crew as they continue delivering outcomes that matter.”

Adams has completed executive education in AI, disruptive strategy, scaled agile and systems thinking through the Australian National University, Harvard Business School and the University of Technology, Sydney.

Her appointment forms part of Kinetic IT’s long-term strategy to enhance operational performance, accelerate digital modernisation and deliver high-quality services at a national scale. As the company expands its footprint and supports increasingly complex environments, strengthened leadership in transformation and service delivery remains central to its goals.

Kinetic IT said it will continue to build a robust, responsive national capability backed by leaders who understand the importance of practical innovation, sovereign service delivery and sustainable performance with Adams’ appointment marking a significant step forward.
