Fujitsu has appointed a new head of defence for Oceania, Kendy Hau, to bring invaluable, mission-focused perspective to the company.

Fujitsu has appointed a new head of defence for Oceania, Kendy Hau, to bring invaluable, mission-focused perspective to the company.

Fujitsu combines its global technology leadership with deep Australian expertise to provide a comprehensive suite of secure information and communications technology services to the Australian Defence Force.

Kendy Hau, based in Canberra, will spearhead the strategy to strengthen Fujitsu’s role as a strategic partner to Australia’s Defence and national security sector.

 
 

Hau is expected to bring to Fujitsu more than two decades of experience across defence, national security and critical technology expertise.

“Fujitsu provides end-to-end mission-critical technology and sovereign capabilities to support the Australian Defence Force and strengthen national security, spanning more than 100 Defence bases in Australia,” said Peter Grassi, chief executive officer of Fujitsu in Oceania.

“We provide advanced capabilities in AI, quantum computing and cyber security to enhance Australia’s operational edge.

“Kendy Hau’s deep operational background brings an invaluable, mission-focused perspective to Fujitsu. 

“Her ability to translate in-field experience to national security strategies is critical as we partner with Defence to deliver resilient and adaptive capabilities.”

Kendy’s experience includes operational deployments in the Middle East, stewardship of complex Defence portfolios and senior leadership roles driving modernisation across Australia’s most mission-critical environments.​

“My career has been dedicated to enhancing the safety and effectiveness of our Defence personnel, a mission that continues at Fujitsu,” Hau said.

“I look forward to working with our partners and the Defence community to co-create sovereign capabilities that give our forces a decisive advantage.”
