Western Australian dedicated agency for driving defence industry, Defence WA, has announced an official office move to Dumas House in Perth.
The WA agency is designed to support national security, defence and champion the interests of Western Australia’s defence industry and capabilities.
The WA Defence and Defence Industry Strategy was previously launched in January 2025 and Defence West is responsible for the implementation of the state government’s Defence and Defence Industry Strategy.
The Defence West team is focused on growing the state’s defence industry ecosystem in preparation for AUKUS nuclear-powered submarines, continuous naval shipbuilding and supporting defence innovation and veterans.
The agency has recently announced a move to Dumas House, located at 2 Havelock Street in Perth.
“This transition marks more than just a change of address; it shows our ongoing commitment to enhancing the state’s defence industry,” the agency said.
“From supporting defence industry growth to strengthening partnerships, the Defence West team continues to drive outcomes that matter to WA.
“(It’s a) new location, same mission; to champion Western Australia’s role in national defence, to drive jobs and business growth and to help communities thrive.
“We look forward to welcoming you to our new offices.”
