Bisalloy Steels, Miras Steel collaborate to meet armour steel demand in Europe

NSW armour steel plate manufacturer Bisalloy Steels has announced an agreement with Romanian metallurgy company Miras Steel Trade to meet demand for certified armour steels in Europe.

NSW armour steel plate manufacturer Bisalloy Steels has announced an agreement with Romanian metallurgy company Miras Steel Trade to meet demand for certified armour steels in Europe.

Under the new collaboration, Bisalloy and Miras have joined forces to support the supply, processing and distribution of high-performance steel solutions for defence, naval and associated heavy engineering applications across Romania, Czechia, Hungary, Bulgaria and the Republic of Moldova.

“This collaboration represents a major step forward in bringing Bisalloy’s combat proven, test and certified steel to European customers with the responsiveness and local support they expect,” according to Bisalloy Steels armour business development manager Justin Suwart.

 
 

“Together with Miras, we will look to support our customers in this region with faster lead times, local fabrication options and seamless technical support.

“We will also look to grow our network of end users across this part of Europe.”

The collaboration combines Bisalloy’s world-class armour steel technology with Miras’ established European distribution, fabrication, logistics capabilities and market reputation.

“We are proud to join forces with Bisalloy, a name synonymous with quality and performance,” according to Miras managing director Mihai Mircea.

“Further, we’ve launched the website www.SteelDefence.eu, which we will use for delivering European customers a complete armour steel solution, from stockholding and cutting through to CNC machining and delivery of finished components.”
