Amentum has appointed Kim Katheklakis as its new managing director for Australia.

Amentum has appointed Kim Katheklakis as its new managing director for Australia.

Amentum has announced its new managing director for energy and environment in Australia, as the US-based engineering and technology company continues to broaden its international presence.

Taking on the role, Katheklakis will lead the company’s operation in Australia and engage with stakeholders across the wider Asia-Pacific.

 
 

“Kim is a recognised leader in the fields of finance, business operations management, commercial and management consulting in both the public and private sectors,” said Loren Jones, senior vice president of Amentum Energy & Environment International.

Katheklakis is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has worked within the accounting and financial control/consulting industry for nearly 20 years.

“Her extensive business acumen will drive superior performance, while her respected leadership will bolster our Australian team as we continue to deliver outstanding service to our clients across the defence and national security sectors and pursue an ambitious growth agenda,” Jones added.

Amentum, which focuses on engineering and project management services for both government and commercial clients, has worked with Australia’s Department of Defence for nearly 30 years.

Currently, Amentum has over 800 employees in Australia.
