Kinetic IT has announced the appointment of its new chief executive officer, Dean Langenbach.

Coming as Kinetic IT continues to progress as a sovereign technology company that has worked alongside both government and industry, this appointment reflects a continued point of growth and expansion.

“This appointment marks a defining moment in Kinetic IT’s journey,” said Sarah Adam-Gedge, chair of Kinetic IT.

“Over the last 12 months, the company has strengthened its national footprint, secured more than $600 million in major contracts, and maintained double-digit growth, setting the stage for an ambitious next chapter.”

Langenbach has held leadership positions in the tech sphere for over 20 years, leading strategic growth teams and enhancing company development. Most recently he served as the CEO of NRI Australia and New Zealand.

“Dean brings the right balance of commercial expertise, a deep understanding of complex technology environments and customer-centred delivery, alongside the proven ability to lead high-performing teams, pursue strategic growth investments and deliver sustainable outcomes,” Adam-Gedge said.

Kinetic IT said that as the progression of AI in the workforce and everyday life continues on, it is committed to providing more focused solutions for combating the myriad of risks and concerns associated with this technological change.

Langenbach said he is committed to reaffirming Kinetic’s sovereign capabilities in the wake of this, saying, “My focus is to build on this foundation by expanding our national presence, harnessing AI and advanced technology solutions, and deepening strategic partnerships to deliver exceptional value to our customers.

“Together, we will drive bold, sustainable growth that positions Kinetic IT at the forefront of technology innovation while reinforcing Australia’s secure and resilient digital infrastructure.”
