WorkSec has announced a new partnership with the Australian Industry & Defence Network (AIDN) to assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) break into the defence industry.

WorkSec has announced a new partnership with the Australian Industry & Defence Network (AIDN) to assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) break into the defence industry.

WorkSec, a leading personnel security compliance company said the partnership with AIDN will enable SMEs to navigate the changing, complex nature of Australia’s defence and national security landscape.

“By partnering with AIDN, we are providing their national membership with a direct pipeline to medical-grade screening, NV1 and NV2 clearance sponsorship, and ‘Security Officer as a Service’,” WorkSec director Matt Kirk said.

“SME’s focus remains on delivering world-class technology, not on managing administrative security backlogs.

“Our mission has always been to remove the friction from security compliance.”

The partnership will see WorkSec’s security services implemented into AIDN processes, which will allow their members in SMEs to position themselves as some of the most trusted and valuable members to Defence.

It will also allow AIDN members to access WorkSec’s services advising on through-life compliance procedures.

Coming as the Safeguarding Australia’s Military Secrets (SAMS) Act 2024 now being fully operational, AIDN CEO Mike Johnson said this collaboration will ensure the highest level of security and compliance is maintained for their members.

“AIDN is providing our members with access to Worksec’s services to promote further participation in Australia’s most sensitive defence projects,” Johnson said.

“We will be rolling out specialised events with WorkSec, as AIDN works to ensure our members have access to the capability and capacity to respond to the rapidly changing security environment.

“AIDN is dedicated to ensuring our members have the tools they need to succeed in a high-security environment.”
