Western Australian defence businesses are invited to showcase their capabilities on a global stage, with expressions of interest now open to join the Defence West stand at Land Forces International Land Defence Exposition 2026.
Perth will host the event for the first time, proving a major opportunity for WA industry to connect global primes, defence leaders and supply chain partners.
Land Forces is Australia’s largest land-based defence industry exhibition, bringing together government, military and industry leaders from across the Indo-Pacific. The Land Forces International Land Defence Exposition 2026 will be held from 6 to 8 October 2026 at the Perth Exhibition and Convention Centre.
The Western Australian government is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from WA-based businesses with strong capability, export potential, innovative technologies or strategic relevance to the land defence domain.
“Land Forces 2026 is a major opportunity for Western Australian businesses to put their capabilities in front of the world and connect directly with key decision makers in the global land defence sector,” Western Australian Defence Industries Minister Paul Papalia said.
“It’s about helping WA companies break into global supply chains, secure new work and grow their footprint internationally.
“It’s a practical step to turn local capability into real outcomes – more jobs, stronger exports and a bigger role for Western Australia in the nation’s land defence effort.”
Successful applicants will gain direct access to key decision makers, coordinated promotion and on-the-ground support from the Western Australia government throughout the event.
Building on a strong showing in 2024, Defence West is targeting around 40 small and medium enterprises to participate in 2026.
Defence West co-exhibiting companies will benefit from a high-visibility platform to promote their technologies, products and services, connect into global supply chains and pursue new commercial and research partnerships.
Interested organisations are invited to submit an EOI outlining their capabilities, objectives for attending and how participation will support the growth of WA’s defence industry through the application platform: Land Forces Defence West Co-Exhibitor Expression of Interest. The EOIs close at 5pm, 22 May 2026.
