US drone munitions manufacturer Limitless Aeronautics has announced a new series of WASP Universal ESAD and STINGER drone munitions.
The new systems are reportedly aimed at supporting drone dominance vendors and other UAS manufacturers.
“WASP is a universal electronic safe and arm device capable of integrating with any drone and a wide range of warheads using off-the-shelf initiation components, enabling mission independence from any drone vendor,” according to the company.
“The STINGER munition family, including the 0.5kg STINGER-S and 2kg STINGER-M with WASP provides a drone-independent lethality solution, enabling any platform to turn into a one-way attack platform without proprietary interfaces or platform-specific munitions.
“Built on the same universal interfaces on our internationally used and proven payload attachments, Limitless continues to make capabilities transferable between platforms, not locked to them.”
Earlier this year, the company announced a memorandum of understanding with Australian short-range guided weapons and specialist munitions manufacturer Ares Armaments to manufacture standard ammunition in the United States.
In parallel, Ares Armaments also announced it would establish its US offices, strengthening on-ground presence and deepening engagement with American industry, government and allied partners.
