Aurizn has announced a new and improved iteration of a software platform used to replicate training environments for defence and national security bodies.
Infinite Studio 4.2 marks a point of improvement for the company as it continues its acceleration of creating realistic testing and training scenarios for Australia’s defence and security industry.
Already being used across the United Kingdom and the United States, the system includes detailed replications of physical terrain, infrastructure and sensors to achieve the most operationally realistic environment for personnel to practice within.
“Defence organisations are increasingly relying on synthetic environments to reduce risk, accelerate capability development and prepare for complex operational scenarios before committing resources in the real world,” Aurizn chief executive officer Rebecca Humble said.
The platform features Aurizn’s innovative Direct View Lights technology that allows for cameras to simulate light sources and radiance.
It also includes digital engineering simulations, allowing for not just tactical operations to be trained but the critical communications and technology support needed for successful missions.
“What makes Infinite Studio particularly significant is that it is a sovereign Australian technology that is not only supporting Defence here at home but is also being deployed by trusted partners across the United Kingdom and United States.”
The company said this cost-effective and risk-reduced approach to virtual training will enhance operational efficiency and readiness from a range of intersecting agencies.
