Communications and PR agencies in South Australia are teaming up as the state becomes a central hub for the defence industry.

Ace Strategies, a government relations and communications engagement company, has teamed up with Grant Law Public Relations, a strategic corporate and crisis communications brand, to serve the defence industry as it grows in the state.

“Our combined capabilities, and personalised services, backed by lived experience and extensive networks, will be a game changer for Defence industry businesses seeking strategic support,” Ace Strategies managing director Matt Neagle said.

“Our clients gain access to a holistic service from strategic positioning and government relations to media management, stakeholder engagement, content creation and issues response – all through a single, integrated team.

“Businesses should be moving quickly to develop and implement a targeted and integrated engagement and communications plan to achieve their growth aspirations.”

The partnership between the two companies will bring together expertise in government relations, stakeholder engagement, strategic communications, business growth and market entry with over three decades of experience between the two.

Neagle has previously held senior roles across South Australia’s defence landscape, including advising the state government on defence and space industries and supporting the establishment of Invest SA and the South Australian Space Industry Centre.

Grant Law has extensive background in serving as a strategic communications adviser to leading defence businesses to strengthen engagement, reputation and industry standpoint.

“Businesses that can articulate their value proposition in a clear and compelling way, especially in terms of how their capability supports sovereignty, security and innovation, are going to stand out in a competitive market,” Law said.

“While many firms focus on flash-in-the-pan communications activities and tick-the-box engagements – our approach is focused on delivering impactful and enduring solutions.”
