Australian defence company Daronmont Technologies has announced the successful delivery of two deployable secure shelters to the Australian Army.
The lightweight 20-foot deployable secure shelters are expected to meet the requirements for a deployable sensitive compartmented information facility through the use of advanced composite materials and manufacturing processes.
Manufactured in South Australia, the shelters incorporate electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding and filtering, and acoustic treatment, enabling their use in sensitive command-and-control and mission system applications.
The shelters provide a modular, mission system agnostic and adaptable solution that can be integrated into deployed force structures while maintaining high levels of protection and interoperability.
Their lightweight construction supports air transportability, while the integrated EMI shielding and acoustic treatment ensure suitability for operating advanced electronic systems in contested and noisy environments.
Daronmont deployable systems program manager Mary Williamson said the delivery was an important achievement for both Daronmont and the Army.
“These shelters demonstrate Daronmont’s ability to deliver highly capable, deployable infrastructure that meets Army’s operational requirements,” Williamson said.
“The lightweight, air‑transportable design, combined with EMI shielding, filtering and acoustic treatment, ensures Army has a flexible and resilient solution ready for deployment when and where it is needed.”
Daronmont continues to support Defence capability programs by delivering deployable systems that contribute to operational readiness while reinforcing Australia’s sovereign design and manufacturing capability.
