BGIS awarded DoD’s 2021 Base Services Contractor of the Year

The company received the award for the third consecutive year.

The company received the award for the third consecutive year.

The annual award was designed to recognise the contractor that demonstrates the best commitment to customer service and support, improved value for money and service delivery, shows ongoing commitment to collaboration, along with a “customer-centric focus” that is underpinned by respect, trust, accountability, integrity, fairness and commitment.

“The team strives to go above and beyond every day to surpass the expectations of the client and deliver industry best practice, Brad Robbins, managing director, operations, defence, and innovation global co-chair, said.

“I am proud to work with Tom Haszard, account director – defence and the entire defence account team who deserve this fantastic recognition.”

The award builds on the company’s wins in 2019 and 2020.

The company confirmed that it has provided integrated facilities management, trade and operational support services to 150 defence sites across NSW since 2014, while both BGIS and the Department of Defence have prioritised Indigenous engagement throughout their procurement and employment initiatives.
