The CDIC has announced that registrations are now open for export events in Sydney and Adelaide.

Defence Export Controls (Department of Defence) is conducting an outreach program to cover the requirements exporters must meet when exporting goods and technology that are controlled, have a potential military end use or could be used in a weapon of mass destruction program.

The outreach events are for small to medium businesses that want to learn more about:

  • Export control regulations;
  • Export controls specific to defence industry or academic and research organisations; and
  • The whole-of-government approach to Australia’s export landscape.

The Adelaide event will be held on 6 November, Sydney's event will be held 13 November.

More information, including registration details is available here.
