Thales wins at Cybersecurity Excellence Awards

Thales has announced that its SafeNet Data Protection On Demand and SafeNet Trusted Access solutions have won gold awards the 2019 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards.

Thales has announced that its SafeNet Data Protection On Demand and SafeNet Trusted Access solutions have won gold awards the 2019 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards.

SafeNet Data Protection On Demand is a cloud-based platform that provides a marketplace of cloud-based HSM, encryption and key management services that easily integrates with most widely used cloud services and IT products to protect data wherever it is created, accessed or stored.

Because there is no hardware to buy and manage, data encryption is made simpler, more cost effective to deploy and can be set up in minutes without the need for highly skilled staff.

SafeNet Trusted Access is an intuitive access management service that makes it easy to manage cloud and web access with single sign-on and scenario-based access policies. With SafeNet Trusted Access, organisations can reduce the threat of data breaches, simplify compliance and secure their cloud transformation initiatives.

"We’re delighted to have won gold in two categories this year for our security solutions," Thales said in the announcement.

"It’s easy to see why the cloud has become such a success, but its proliferation means that security has often been thought of at the last moment. Unfortunately, it’s not a question of if, but when, an organisation will suffer a breach, so they need solutions that are simple and easy to use in order to effectively protect their customers and their own data."
