Sydney-based Thomas Global Systems has announced the appointment of Merv Davis, AM, to the company’s advisory board. 

Sydney-based Thomas Global Systems has announced the appointment of Merv Davis, AM, to the company’s advisory board. 

Davis has extensive experience in the Australian and international defence industry, including in chief executive, operational, strategic and technical roles. Most recently he was CEO of CEA Technologies, a world leader in active phased array radar, and has held senior executive roles with BAE Systems and Saab Australia.

Thomas Global’s chairman, William Hutchinson, welcomed Davis' appointment, saying, "Merv brings a wealth of experience in defence electronic systems and in the defence sector generally, following a distinguished career as a senior executive in industry and as a Commodore in the Royal Australian Navy.

"We are delighted that Merv is joining our advisory board. The Thomas Global team looks forward to working with Merv as we grow our business in Australia and internationally."
