XTEK Limited is also tipped to recognise a further $9.6 million before the end of the month, with the final 20 per cent tranche of a previously announced US$33.21 million (AU$48.3 million) order due to be completed.

“HighCom Armor is a trusted provider of high performance, life-saving, ballistic personal protection equipment to federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies and military customers across the United States and around the world,” Scott Basham, XTEK group CEO, said.

“In completing this order ahead of time, our HighCom Armor production team in our Columbus OH facility have once again displayed their manufacturing prowess and operational excellence, by rapidly building and quickly shipping this important order valued at AU$2.7 million for a major US government federal agency.

“It is exactly this level of outstanding performance that gives our domestic US and international customers such confidence in our HighCom brand.”

HighCom’s products, billed as “ultra-lightweight” and “high-performance”, are manufactured with the support of the patented XTclave capability in Adelaide, South Australia.

In 2019, XTEK acquired HighCom in a bid to enhance its focus on proprietary products, accelerating XTclave commercialisation through ballistic protection products.

HighCom also provides XTEK with access to an expanded distribution network in the United States.
