Swedish ambassador to outline opportunities at defence industry round table

Swedish ambassador to Australia Par Ahlberger will speak at an industry round table to discuss defence industry opportunities.

Ahlberger will present an overview of the Swedish business environment and provide some insights into the country's defence priorities.

Swedish firms have provided a substantial amount of Australia’s defence equipment, including Collins Class submarines, although they missed out on being considered for their replacements.

In the world of global supply chains, Australian firms could bid for defence work in Sweden.

The event will be held on Tuesday, 14 November in Melbourne. It’s being hosted by Trade Victoria, the Australian Industry and Defence Network Victoria and the Victorian Defence Alliances.
