NIOA continues to strengthen its defence and law enforcement team with the recent addition of Jackson Nioa as corporate development manager. 

NIOA continues to strengthen its defence and law enforcement team with the recent addition of Jackson Nioa as corporate development manager. 

As corporate development manager, Nioa will be supporting strategic initiatives and growth activities within the government business team. He is a graduate of the University of Queensland, with a bachelor of laws/commerce, and is currently undertaking his master of laws. 

His previous experience includes a position as commercial advisor with Origin Energy’s upstream oil and gas unit working on joint ventures, business development transactions and divestments. More recently he held a position as commercial manager with QinetiQ, which involved the review, negotiation and drafting of contracts.

NIOA is a 100 per cent Australian prime contractor specialising in the provision and support of weapon systems and integrated soldier systems focusing on close combat, special operations, direct fire, in-direct fire, target recognition/identification, suppression and neutralisation, training and force protection. 

NIOA supplies and supports a wide array of small arms, medium calibre and large calibre munitions, special function grenades and pyrotechnics, and leading-edge pistol systems, small arms, sighting systems and carriage solutions.

NIOA maintains and exercises reach-back arrangements with engineering and technical support partners to provide specialised design, analysis and test services for the weapons systems it supplies and supports. NIOA's facilities are unique in Australia and provide specialised services and products to defence and law enforcement agencies across Australia and New Zealand.

With an extensive range of capabilities, the new NIOA facility has been purpose built in collaboration with the Defence Security Agency.
