The German Bundeswehr confirmed that it has entered into an agreement with EuroSpike GmbH for the delivery of a new round of MELLS guided missiles.
Eurospike GmbH is a joint venture between Rheinmetall, Diehl Defence and Rafael.
The agreement is for the delivery of an additional 666 MELLS missiles, with an accompanying 82 launch systems, and is valued at €88 million ($135 million).
It is expected that the deal will be completed between 2022 and 2024.
