The Adelaide training school, School of Information Operations, has celebrated delivering 100 defence courses to more than 900 students since its launch in 2019.

School of Information Operations (SOIO) is working in the Department of Defence and defence industry to cover multi-domain operations including electronic warfare, cyber, undersea warfare, uncrewed aerial systems, space, and maritime operations across six short courses and two long courses.

The company has extensive defence operational experience and a permanent operations team with 27 instructors and industry subject matter experts.

SOIO chief executive officer Glenn Murray said SOIO originally comprised just one electronic warfare short course derived from courseware developed by Leonardo Academy in Lincoln, United Kingdom.

“To achieve 100 courses in such a short timeframe is evidence of our dedication and instructors’ experience,” he said.

“The positive feedback we receive from clients and students is testament to our success with delivering capability to Defence.”

Courses are conducted in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Nowra, and Perth.
