As 2019 draws to an end, the Defence Connect team will take a look through some of its favourite images of the year, with this edition being focused on multidomain interaction.

As 2019 draws to an end, the Defence Connect team will take a look through some of its favourite images of the year, with this edition being focused on multidomain interaction.

The Australian Defence Force has been able to flex its multidomain capabilities during several international training exercise in 2019, such as Talisman Sabre, Southern Jackaroo, Bushido Guardian, Koolendon and Tafakula, among others.

The ability for the Australian Army, Royal Australian Air Force and Royal Australian Navy to interact, not only with each other but in the cyber domain, is of massive importance moving forward into the next decade.

For example, the RAAF's Plan Jericho aims to provide a technological edge to the ADF by pushing its force into a fifth-generation paradigm, such as the acquisition of the world's most advanced aircraft, the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.
