HighCom Technology has secured a contract to supply and support counter-drone systems to the New Zealand Defence Force.
The subsidiary of HighCom Limited will supply MyDefence counter-drone system, spares, and training support, with delivery expected in FY2026–27 under the contract, valued at $1.63 million. In addition, the company is expected to establish a regional C-UAS Centre of Excellence to support this growing, regional defence capability.
The new contract follows a recent $8.9 million Australian Defence Force counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) contract.
“We are delighted to be selected as the supplier of MyDefence C-UAS products for the New Zealand Defence Force, expanding on our success in supplying and supporting equipment to the Australian Defence Force,” said HighCom Technology’s president, Bede Galvin.
“This order continues the build-out of our regional C-UAS supply, integration, commissioning and support services capability set and ensures that we are well placed to service this fast-growing market segment.
“We look forward to continuing to support the NZDF on their counter-drone journey. Given our deep C-UAS knowledge base, we are also moving forward in the establishment of our C-UAS Centre of Excellence to better inform, train and support our growing key customer set.”
