The highly anticipated PACIFIC 2017 International Maritime Exposition kicks off today at the International Convention Centre Sydney in NSW, with Defence Connect there ready to deliver all the action as it happens.

PACIFIC 2017 will showcase the latest maritime products, technologies and services from Tuesday to Thursday with Defence Connect there to bring you all the latest in news, announcements and conferences.

It is looking unlikely an announcement of the successful Offshore Patrol Vessel tenderer will be unveiled at the event, but all contenders and teaming partners will be in attendance.

Director of Defence Connect Phillip Tarrant said the three day event is an excellent opportunity to deliver greater exposure to the industry.

"As with Avalon Airshow earlier this year, Defence Connect will be there to drive media exposure to the industry at PACIFIC and to market industry intelligence with daily news stories and podcasts available from our website," he said.

"Defence Connect endeavours to transform the way in which defence and industry connect, and our presence at PACIFIC will continue to do just that."

Defence Connect will be podcasting from our stand at 2C26, with guests from government, primes and SMEs.
