Aurizn has celebrated a new partnering arrangement with PMB Defence in support of the UK nuclear submarine program.
Under the agreement, Aurizn will provide specialist technical support for electrical battery systems, contributing to PMB’s delivery of this significant capability.
“We are pleased to partner with PMB on this important program,” Aurizn chief executive officer Rebecca Humble said.
“This collaboration brings together the strengths of two Australian companies working to support a critical national initiative.
“We look forward to building a strong working relationship with PMB … Together, we are supporting the delivery of next-generation submarine capability for Australia and our AUKUS partners.”
Aurizn’s role will focus on providing analytical and engineering support to enhance system understanding, inform design decisions and support performance assessment, complementing PMB Defence’s broader program of work and delivery of its advanced battery technology.
By combining PMB’s battery technology and program leadership with Aurizn’s specialist technical expertise, the collaboration highlights the value of Australian companies working together on nationally significant projects.
